In Gaurikund, the main stop of Kedarnath Dham due to heavy rains, three shops were destroyed due to debris falling from the hill. 19 people are reported missing due to the debris. Many people were sleeping in the shop when the debris fell from the hill. Most of the people in this are said to be of Nepali origin. Can’t find anything about these people.
The SDRF team that reached the spot has recovered three bodies. Kedarnath Yatra has been stopped. The recovery of bodies of three people was confirmed by District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar. He said that the search and rescue operation of 19 people missing due to heavy landslide near Gaurikund Datpulia is going on.
So far three bodies have been recovered during the rescue operation, whose identification is being done. Along with this, the work of rescue and search for other missing people is going on. It is feared that the people who went missing in the accident might have been swept away in the strong current of the Mandakini river. At present it is raining and the rescue operation is not going on. Nothing has been found at the scene of the incident. The Mandakini river is also flowing in spate from below. The rescue operation will be started again only after the rain stops.

Dharamraj old son Munbahadur, resident of Pere Ward No. 2, Chaura District, Jamula Circle, District Karnali, Nepal, Chandra Kami, S/o Lal Bahadur and Sukhram Rawat, S/o Jora, resident of Chaura Ward No. 2, Chaura District, Jamula Zone, Karnali, Nepal came to eat food at Dhaba. , are also said to be missing after the incident.
