Uttar Pradesh | Railways announces renaming of THESE three railway stations

This is not the first time that the names of railway stations have been changed under the Yogi government. Even before this, names of many railway stations have been changed.

The process of changing names of places and railway stations continues in Uttar Pradesh. Now the names of three railway stations in the state have been changed. These railway stations include Pratapgarh, Antu and Bishnathganj. After changing the names of these railway stations, Pratapgarh will now be known as Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction and Antu will now be known as Maa Chandrika Devi Dham Antu. At the same time, Bishnathganj Shanidev Dham will be known as Bishnathganj.

This is not the first time that the names of railway stations have been changed under the Yogi government. Even before this, names of many railway stations have been changed. The names of Faizabad, Allahabad and Mughalsarai stations have also been changed. Jhansi Railway Station was named Veerangana Lakshmibai Railway Station. The name of Faizabad railway station was changed to Ayodhya Cantt. A notification was issued by the government regarding this.

The Yogi government of the state had changed the name of Allahabad to Prayagraj in the year 2018. Along with changing the name of the city, the names of the railway stations were also changed. After becoming the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath first changed the name of Mughalsarai station to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Station. Along with this, Mughalsarai tehsil was made Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay tehsil. At the same time, Panki station of Kanpur was renamed as Panki Dham.
