On Tuesday, there was an explosion in a soap factory located in Lohianagar police station area in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In this incident, information has been received about the death of four people and serious injuries to many people.
District Magistrate Deepak Meena told that there was a soap making factory. There was an explosion due to some problem in the machinery, in which four people died.
He said that the deceased have not been identified yet. These could all be factory workers. Efforts are being made for identification.
Neighbors told that this factory was running in the residential area for the last six years. During the rescue, the rest of the building also collapsed, in which a JCB driver was injured. He has been admitted to the hospital.
