The protesters said that the tribals have got special status in the constitution. The marriage or separation of tribals does not take place under the Hindu Marriage Act. In such a situation, if the Uniform Civil Code is implemented, then the existence of tribals will be in danger.

In the second phase, sit-in demonstrations were organized at the block level on July 18 and in the third phase, rallies were organized at the district level on July 27. At the same time, in the fourth phase, Bharat Bandh was announced on Monday.
The protesting people say that the tribals have got a special status in the constitution. Tribals are not married under the Hindu Marriage Act. A different method is also adopted in their separation. It is settled socially among the tribals. If the Uniform Civil Code is implemented, then the existence of tribals will be in danger.
