In the all-party meeting called by the Speaker in this matter, Trinamool Congress, while mentioning the action taken against the party’s former Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra, has demanded similar action against Pratap Simha.
If sources are to be believed, Pratap Simha has said in his clarification that the father of one of the young men named Manoranjan is known to him and he was insisting for a pass to watch the proceedings of the Parliament for the last several months. The BJP MP, in his clarification, said that Manoranjan’s house falls in his Lok Sabha constituency and the young man was constantly insisting on getting a pass from his Mysore and Delhi offices.
The BJP MP further said that Manoranjan, calling Sagar Sharma his friend, requested his Delhi office to make passes for both of them for Parliament, on which he had written for the passes for both of them. He has declared himself completely unaware of the actions taken by both of them in the Lok Sabha.
However, opposition MPs are continuously demanding strict action against BJP MP Pratap Simha. In the all-party meeting called by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandopadhyay, referring to his party’s action against former Lok Sabha MP Mahua Moitra, demanded similar action against Pratap Simha.
Let us tell you here that common people need a pass to watch the proceedings of Parliament. The passes are made only on the basis of the recommendation of an MP and it is through this visitor pass that people enter the audience gallery of the House. The audience gallery is built above the House, from where visitors can watch the proceedings of the House.
With the pass made on the basis of the recommendation of BJP MP Pratap Simha, Sagar and Manoranjan reached the audience gallery of the Lok Sabha on Wednesday and during the Zero Hour when the proceedings of the House were going on, they jumped into the House from the gallery and one of them The young man jumped on the seats and started moving forward. When the MPs present in the House at that time tried to catch him, he took out a smoke stick from his shoe and spread color smog in the House. After which yellow smoke started appearing inside the House, due to which there was chaos among the MPs.
