Two coaches and engine of Suheldev Express derailed at Prayagraj railway station in Uttar Pradesh at around 9 pm on Tuesday. North Central Railway gave this information. This train runs between Anand Vihar in Delhi and Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Public Relations Officer of North Central Railway, Himanshu Kumar Upadhyay said, “The train had just left the station when two wheels of the engine derailed. The two coaches behind the engine also derailed. But there is no news of any casualty.” He said, ”The operation of trains on this route is normal. The incident happened around 9 pm and the train got ready to depart shortly after. We will find out the reason for the derailment of the engine and the coach.” According to sources, the incident occurred on platform number six when the green signal was shown to the train. A source said, “Some wheels of the coaches derailed. No one has been injured.
