Six cops en route to duty at PM Modi’s rally killed in accident in Rajasthan’s Churu

Six policemen from Khinvsar police station of Nagaur and one policeman from Mahila police station were on duty at the Prime Minister’s election rally in Jhunjhunu. The policemen were going to Jhunjhunu in a Xylo car, when they collided with a truck on National Highway 58 near Kanuta post of Sujangarh Sadar police station.

A horrific road accident has occurred in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Six policemen, who were on their way to the Prime Minister’s rally, died in a road accident in Churu district in the early hours of Sunday. The policemen’s car collided with a truck. The accident occurred in Sujangarh Sadar police station area of the district. As soon as information about the accident was received, police and administration officials reached the spot and took the injured policemen to the hospital.

Six policemen from Khinvsar police station of Nagaur and one policeman from Mahila police station were on duty at the Prime Minister’s election rally in Jhunjhunu. The policemen were going to Jhunjhunu in a Xylo car when they collided with a truck on National Highway 58 near Kanuta post of Sujangarh Sadar police station. The front part of the car was shattered in the accident that took place at 5.30 in the morning.

The policemen who died on the spot have been identified as ASI Ramchandra of Khinvsar police station, constables Kumbharam, Suresh Meena, Thanaram and constable Mahendra of Mahila police station. Head constable Sukharam and constable Sukharam of Khinvsar police station were injured in the accident, who were referred to Jodhpur. Constable Sukharam also died while being taken to Jodhpur. DGP Umesh Mishra has expressed grief over the incident.
