On Monday, the very next day after the victory in Rajasthan elections, newly elected BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya made Jaipur aware of the change of power. While ordering the closure of non-veg shops in the city, he said that the operation of these shops will not be tolerated at any cost.
Balmukund Acharya said, “These people do not even have a license. The Congress administration was not asking him about this. My agenda is to protect Sanatan, so I will not tolerate such people. Because of these people, non-veg is being cooked openly, due to which the general public is being troubled.
He said that due to the smell of non-veg, people have stopped even passing through the roads. The MLA said, “There are many temples in these areas. People have stopped visiting these temples because of the smell of non-veg. Now this will not be tolerated under any circumstances.” Acharya has asked the Municipal Corporation officials to close non-veg shops in the major markets of the city and has also asked the owner of the non-veg hotel to remove the encroachment.
Acharya won the election from Hawamahal assembly constituency on BJP ticket by just 600 votes. Acharya said, “Everyone’s licenses will be checked. I will personally collect reports from all these shop owners and investigate.” He said that Bangladeshis have set up non-veg shops in Hawamahal, which is against the rules.
