Whereas, four other people were seriously injured in the accident. According to the police, the factory owner fled after the accident. Search for him is going on Several fire tenders brought the fire under control after hours of struggle.

The SSP told that at the time of the accident, about 5 people were present in the other part of the house. They ran outside as soon as the fire broke out, but a woman Kartari Devi (75) got burnt alive. While, four others were injured. The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police has sent the dead body of the woman for postmortem.
The SSP told that the factory owner Pramod Lala is absconding since the accident and the police is raiding various places in search of him. It has been learned that the owner does not have the license to operate the firecracker factory. The police is probing the incident from every angle.
