Due to heavy rains in the state this week, the environment has become more favorable for the Aedes mosquito (Asian Tiger) causing dengue. Doctors are saying that due to this rain, dengue cases may occur till after the onset of winter. More caution is needed in places where rain water has accumulated. Due to pain in joints, dengue fever is also called break bone fever in common language because it causes a lot of pain in the body and joints.

Symptoms of dengue fever appear in the patient about 3-5 days after the bite of dengue mosquito. Sometimes there is no fever.
