Rajasthan: BJP office vandalised in Rajsamand; stones pelted at state unit chief’s house

There has been ruckus in the party after BJP released the second list of candidates for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. In protest, workers created ruckus at many places. In this series, while the party office in Rajsamand has been vandalized, in Chittorgarh state BJP President C.P. Joshi’s house has been pelted with stones.

Party workers, apparently disappointed, have protested against the party in Jaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Alwar, Bundi and Udaipur. BJP workers took to the streets to protest against the re-nomination of Deepti Maheshwari as the candidate from Rajsamand. Visibly angry workers protested against the party’s move to give ticket to an “outsider candidate”.

He demanded to give ticket to the local candidate. The workers entered the BJP office located on Kankroli Road and vandalized it. The workers expressed their displeasure while advocating for Dinesh Badala. There was a protest in Chittorgarh against the ticket of Chittorgarh MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya. BJP state unit president C.P. Protests were organized against Joshi.

Akya said, “He (Joshi) was in NSUI and I was an ABVP worker. Since then there was a fight going on between him and me. I thank Joshi for canceling my ticket. Now the public will decide everything.” Meanwhile, State President C.P. Security at Joshi’s house has been increased. The houses of Joshi and Chandrabhan Singh Akya are in the same locality.

Obviously, they will remain indifferent in this election.”
