Chhagan Bhujbal, Food and Civil Supplies Minister in the Eknath Shinde government of Maharashtra, has received death threats from an unknown phone number on WhatsApp linked to his personal number. A complaint has been lodged in the police station regarding this, after which the police has started investigation to find out the person who made the threat.
According to the information received, on Friday evening, messages were received from Bhujbal, the leader of Ajit Pawar faction who rebelled in the Nationalist Congress Party. The threat read, “You will not live long.” We will not rest until we finish you off. You better be careful, we’ll see you.”
Taking this threatening message seriously, Nashik NCP youth leader Ambadas J. Khaire has lodged a complaint at Ambad police station, following which the police have started an investigation to trace the person who threatened the minister. Police is tracing the number sending the threat etc.
