Madhya Pradesh | Stone pelting on BJP’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Neemuch

The incident took place in Chainpuria, the last village of Manasa assembly constituency in the district. The villagers protested heavily by stopping the Janashirwad Yatra. And have also pelted stones on some vehicles, as soon as the information was received, the police force reached the spot.

According to the information received, after leaving Rampura, the Jan Ashirwad Yatra was going to Bhanpura via Gandhi Sagar in Mandsaur district. Meanwhile, as soon as the Jan Ashirwad Yatra reached Chenpuria, the last village of Manasa assembly, the people present there pelted stones. It is being told that the people of the village were opposing the Cheetah project that came in the area. If our land goes to the Cheetah Project, then where will the thousands go for grazing.

The villagers had already prepared for this protest, in the meantime, a large number of villagers made animals stand on the yatra route and secretly pelted stones on the yatra, due to which the glasses of four to five vehicles were broken. No one was reported injured during the stone pelting, police reached the spot on information. And by 8 pm the yatra reached Gandhi Sagar in Mandsaur district.
