गाजियाबाद: PAC कैंपस के पास दिखा तेंदुआ, अधिकारियों में दहशत, कमांडेंट ने DFO से कहा- तेंदुआ पकड़वाएं
Leopard has been seen near PAC 47th Battalion in Ghaziabad. After which an alert has been issued. There is an atmosphere of panic among the employees and their families living here. The battalion commandant has written a letter to the forest department officials asking them to catch the leopard. This letter has been written by the PAC commander to the District Forest Officer. According to the information received, 47th Corps PSC is established in Govindpuram, Ghaziabad. PAC jawans and their families live here. PAC personnel are deployed for the security of this campus.
In his sent letter, the commander of the 47th Corps PSC Task Force has written to the DFO that on September 6, around 4 a.m., the guards on duty sighted leopards, causing alarm to the officers, personnel and their families as well as the people in the vicinity. The danger has increased. He has requested the DFO to give necessary guidelines to capture the leopard keeping in mind everyone’s safety.
This is not the first incident of leopard sighting. Even before this, leopard has been seen many times in Ghaziabad and Greater Noida West. Efforts to catch him have also been made by the DFOs of both the districts. But there was not much success. Just a few days ago, a video of some small cubs had surfaced in the fields of Rabupura, Greater Noida, which some people were calling fishing cats and some leopard cubs.
According to this, if these are the cubs of a leopard then it is natural for a male and female leopard to be nearby. At present, after the letter was written, it is expected that this time the action will be taken by the District Forest Officer of Ghaziabad.
