Kedarnath in Uttarakhand covered in thick blanket of snow

Snowfall continues in Kedarnath Dham since Monday. Till now about one feet snow has fallen in the Dham. Continuous snowfall and falling temperatures have also stopped the reconstruction work of Kedarnath. In Kedarnath Dham, more than five hundred laborers are engaged in the reconstruction work of the Dham, who had to stop the work due to the weather.

Manoj Semwal, manager of the Wood Stone Company, which is doing the reconstruction work, said that the workers engaged in the reconstruction work are facing problems due to continuous snowfall. The temperature is reaching minus 8 degrees at night. The work will have to be stopped until the weather clears.

On the other hand, it is extremely cold in Badrinath Dham also. The hills in Dham are covered with a white blanket of snow. The maximum temperature of Badrinath was recorded at minus 4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. Whereas, the minimum temperature was minus 8 degrees. The temperature here is likely to go down further in the coming days.
