India has retaliated strongly on the allegations of Canadian government on the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying, “India rejects Canada’s allegations.” “We have seen the statement of the Prime Minister of Canada in their Parliament and also reject the statement of their Foreign Minister. India rejects the allegations of violence in Canada. Allegations of Indian government involvement in any act are absurd and motivated… “We are a democratic polity with a strong commitment to the rule of law,” the statement said.
Let us tell you that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that the country’s security agencies have evidence that Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered by agents of the Indian government in British Columbia on June 18.
“Canadian national security agencies have evidence that Indian government agents carried out the murder of this Canadian citizen, who was also the president of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey,” Trudeau was quoted as saying by CBC News.
Nijjar was murdered outside the Gurudwara
On June 18, Khalistani terrorist Nijjar was shot dead while he was standing in the parking lot of a Gurudwara in British Columbia, Canada. Nijjar was a resident of Jalandhar in Punjab and was accused of spreading terrorism in the state. In 2020, India had declared him a terrorist and in 2022, NIA had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him.
