In the order issued by the state government, it has been said that the suspension of mobile internet services, bulk SMS and all dongle services etc. provided on mobile networks except voice calls in most areas of Nuh has been extended till August 8, 2023.

At the same time, there is an atmosphere of peace in the violence-affected areas of Gurugram for two to three days. Mahapanchayat of ‘Hindu Samaj’ is going to be held in Gurugram today. Ahead of the mahapanchayat, heavy security force has been deployed in Tighar village of Gurugram. Vikas Kaushik, ACP, DLF Gurugram said that there is peace in Gurugram since last 2-3 days. No incidents have been reported. We feel that today’s panchayat will pass peacefully. We have talked to all the parties, they have assured that the panchayat will be held peacefully. There is a possibility of 500-1000 people attending the panchayat.

The police have so far arrested more than 200 people in connection with the violence. Apart from this, the police have also taken 80 people into custody as a precautionary measure. So far 104 FIRs have been registered. The violence broke out when a mob pelted stones at a religious procession in Nuh on 31 July.
