Five Killed In Chitrakoot As Janrath Bus And Bolero Collide Head-On

There was a head-on collision between a roadways bus and a Bolero in Chitrakoot, in which five people died and six were seriously injured.

Chitrakoot. There was a head-on collision between a transport department’s Janrath bus and a Bolero near Bagrehi Lalapur of Raipura police station on the Jhansi-Mirzapur National Highway on Tuesday afternoon at around 12 noon.

Those who have been referred to Prayagraj from Community Health Center Ramnagar and District Hospital. The dead and injured have not been identified. The Janrath bus going from Banda to Ayodhya had left Chitrakoot at around 11.45 am on Tuesday morning. As soon as the bus reached near Bagrehi village of Raipura police station, it had a direct collision with the Bolero coming from the front. The collision was so severe that the Bolero was blown to pieces.

According to the number, Boloro is said to be from Madhya Pradesh in which 11 people were traveling. Everyone was evacuated and admitted to the nearby Community Health Center Ramnagar. While four were sent to the district hospital. Five people have died during treatment. Which also includes two children and Bolero driver.

The passengers traveling in the bus also suffered minor injuries in the accident. In which one passenger has been admitted to the district hospital. On receiving the news of the accident, District Magistrate Abhishek Anand and Superintendent of Police Vrinda Shukla inspected the incident site and reached the district hospital. DM said that five people have died in the accident while six people have been referred to Prayagraj.
