Dengue outbreak has increased rapidly in Delhi after the floods. In the month of July, 121 dengue cases were registered. This is the highest in the last 6 years. Delhi recorded 243 dengue cases from January to July 28. Of these, 50 percent of dengue cases have been registered in July only.
Everyday at least 4-5 patients of high fever and diarrhea are being found in private hospitals of Noida. They are being tested for dengue. According to the District Malaria Officer, continuous monitoring of dengue and malaria patients is being done. A portal has been prepared for this. According to the portal, so far there have been 40 cases of dengue in the district. Most of these patients are living in the society.
Symptoms of Dengue:
- Fever: The first symptom of dengue is fever. Sudden high fever. Chills are also felt along with fever.

- Swelling of the nose or throat: Swelling of the nose and throat may occur in some people.
