Air pollution remains in serious condition in Delhi and NCR. In view of the serious condition of air quality, the district administration of Noida and Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh has ordered closure of all schools from pre-school to class 9 and issued instructions to conduct online classes.
Along with Delhi, the air of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad continues to remain in the danger zone. However, there is a possibility of some relief in the next 48 hours. North-west winds will carry away pollution. Meteorologists said that winds will blow at a speed of 10 km per hour. These winds can last for 5 to 7 days continuously. This will reduce pollution by about 50 percent.
At present, due to the situation becoming worse, the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar has issued an order to close all the schools from pre-school to class 9. According to which all board schools will remain closed till November 10. Noida district administration has declared holiday in schools for 3 days in view of pollution. Schools can conduct online classes.
Here, according to CPCB data at 4 pm on Tuesday, the air quality of Greater Noida was recorded in the very poor category. The AQI here in the index was 450, which is in the danger zone. Meteorologists clearly say that unless there is rain, there is very little scope for improvement in air quality.
Talking about Ghaziabad, the air quality index was measured at 350 on Tuesday evening. Air quality index 350 has also been measured in Noida. Due to this increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR, people are facing a lot of problems in breathing. There is also a burning sensation in the eyes.
