Congress has released the second list of its candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections. In this, names of 43 candidates have been announced. Names of many big leaders are included in this list. Earlier, Congress had announced 33 names in the first list.

Congress has released the second list of 43 candidates for Rajasthan Assembly elections. Pratap Singh Khachariyawas from Civil Lines, Gurmeet Singh Kunnar from Karanpur, Dungar Ram Zedar from Suratgarh, Dr. Bulaki Das Kalla from Bikaner West, Brijendra Singh Ola from Jhunjhunu, Hakam Ali from Fatehpur have been given tickets. Govind Ram Meghwal will contest from Khajuwala and Prasadi Lal Meena will contest from Lolsot.
What is special in this list?
There are names of 15 ministers in this list, which also includes a former Chief Secretary. The names of Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Dharmendra Rathore are not even in this list. However, the names of the candidates for their seats have not been released in both the lists.
On Ramgarh seat, Congress has given ticket to Zuber Khan in place of Safia Zuber Khan. Zuber Khan is Safia’s husband and is also the ICC Secretary. Sushila Doody, wife of Rameshwar Doody, has been given the ticket from Nokha. Rameshwar Dudi was recently admitted to the hospital due to brain hemorrhage. Right now his condition is serious.
Om Prakash Hudla has been given ticket from Mahua. Last time he had contested the elections as an independent. Niranjan Arya has been given a chance from Sojat. He was the Chief Secretary in the Gehlot government and was preparing to contest the elections. Rest of the Congress has not made much changes in this list. Barring one or two seats, candidates have been given a second chance on all the seats.
Coordination committee formed for Rajasthan elections
Congress has also formed a coordination committee for Rajasthan elections. Mohan Prakash has been made its chairman. Laxman Singh Rawat and Neeraj Dangi have been made conveyancers. Ramsingh Kaswan has been made co-convenor.
