Congress corporator killed in MP’s Chhatarpur

A councilor allegedly died during a clash between BJP and Congress supporters in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh early Friday. The police gave this information on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Salman Khan, a resident of Manzoor Nagar village of Khajuraho, who was allegedly crushed by vehicles associated with BJP candidate Arvind Pateria and his supporters. At the time of the incident, the victim was also accompanied by Congress candidate Vikram Singh Natiraja from Chhatarpur seat. According to a report, the incident took place in Rajnagar assembly constituency around 2 pm.

Madhya Pradesh Congress has shared a video related to this incident in which Congress candidate from Rajnagar Assembly Vikram Singh Natiraja starts crying about the incident. He has blamed the BJP candidate for the incident.

At the same time, the statement of the police has also come out. According to the police, the preliminary investigation has revealed a conflict between the two groups, which began after a dispute over their respective campaigns.

Similarly, a person was injured when a polling station was shot at a polling station during the polling on Friday morning on the Dhimni assembly seat of Morena district. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is contesting from Dhimni against Ravindra Tomar of Congress.

In another incident in Harda district, a person was allegedly killed due to current at a polling station. At the same time, BJP workers attacked Congress supporters with a sword in Mhow assembly seat of Indore.

Similarly, BJP workers created a ruckus when Nakul Nath, son of MPCC President Kamal Nath and Chhindwara MP in Chhindwara went to a polling station on Friday. BJP workers allegedly tried to prevent Nakula Nath from entering the polling station, however, the intervention of the security forces posted at the polling station made the situation normal.
