The Education Department of Bihar has canceled the registration of 20,87,063 students studying in various government schools of the state due to absenteeism. Education Department officials have given this information here. Most of the students have been found absent in government schools of Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, West Champaran and East Champaran. The lowest number of 20 thousand 206 students was found absent in Shivhar. After this the department has now taken this action.

An affidavit will have to be filed not to repeat the mistake

The department has taken this strict step after children were found absent for 15 consecutive days without prior permission from the concerned authorities. Of these, 2,66,564 students are from class 9 to 12. After this action, these students will not be allowed to appear in the 10th and 12th board examinations until their parents file an affidavit that they will not repeat their mistake again.

Officials also instructed to inspect

On the instructions of KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, the authority has asked the District Education Officers and Block Education Officers to inspect schools in their respective jurisdictions and take strict action against the violators. There has been a stir here after more than 20 lakh names were deleted.

Notice will be sent to children missing for three days

On the other hand, KK Pathak, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, had sent a letter to the DMs of all the districts of Bihar and issued an order that first notice will be sent to the students who remain missing for three days. If students remain absent continuously for 15 days, their enrollment will be cancelled. Now the effect of this order of KK Pathak is visible.
