Four people died in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district in the early hours of Saturday.

Four people died in a road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district in the early hours of Saturday. The accident occurred near Kalluru village in Garladinne mandal when a private bus collided with a tractor laden with rice. Four people traveling on the tractor died on the spot. The deceased were identified as Chinna Tippaiah (45), Sriramulu (45), Nagarjuna (30) and Srinivasulu (30).
The bus driver and another person were injured in the accident. He was admitted to Anantapur Hospital. The condition of injured passenger Naresh is said to be critical. Relatives of the deceased protested and tried to stop the police from shifting the bodies.
“This morning a bus collided with a tractor and four people died in the accident. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the government hospital,” said sub inspector of Garladin police station in Sagar. Immediately after the incident, people nearby informed the police about the incident, after which the police reached the spot with their team and took stock of the situation.
