A video is going viral on social media, in which an SUV driver tries to run over people over a dispute of just Rs 5. In the video, the SUV driver is clearly seen deliberately trying to run over people. The incident is being reported near the Signature Bridge of Delhi.

According to the police, the complainant Ram Chand (a Pakistani Hindu), who lives in a refugee camp near the Signature Bridge and runs a small eatery near the bridge, had alleged that around 8:30 am on Tuesday, two boys Came in the car and asked for two glasses of water.

“The victim gave him water and asked for Rs 5,” a senior police officer said. On this he refused to pay, due to which a dispute and fight started.

After the injury sustained in the fight, Ram Chand was taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital and examined. “On the complaint, a case of criminal assault and rash driving was registered against the accused persons,” the officer said. The car is registered in the name of Mohammad Habib, resident of Bhajanpura.

The officer further said that the car, Mahindra NuvoSport SUV, and its occupants are being traced.
