An earthquake has occurred in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. An earthquake of magnitude 4 occurred here today at 9.11 am.

Earthquakes are continuously occurring in different parts of India. After the earthquake in Delhi-NCR on Sunday, earthquake tremors were felt 48 km north-east of Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand on Monday morning.
According to the National Seismology Centre, the intensity of this earthquake was recorded as 4 on the Richter scale. However, there is no news of any loss of life or property so far. Earlier on October 5, there was an earthquake in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. According to the Indian Seismological Centre, an earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred at around 3:49 pm on Thursday night.
Earlier on Sunday evening, tremors of a massive earthquake were felt in Delhi-NCR. These tremors were felt very strongly in Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad. According to the National Seismological Centre, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers below the ground in Faridabad. Its intensity has been measured at 3.1 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt at around 4.08 pm. Due to fear of earthquake, people came out of their homes and offices. For the second time in two weeks, the earth is shaking due to earthquake in Delhi NCR.
