Along with flour and pulses, there has been a rise in most spices. If the prices received from grocery stores are mixed, then in the last three months, there has been a considerable increase in the prices of pulses, rice and flour, which is putting a heavy burden on the pocket of the common man.

Toor dal is currently running at Rs 180 to 190 per kg. Its price three months ago was around 150 to 160 kg. Arhar dal has also increased a lot. Presently Arhar Dal is available at 190 kg, which was Rs 150 a kg three months back. Same is the condition of chana dal also. Chana dal is currently priced at Rs 190 a kg. Chana dal was Rs 150 per kg three months back.

Along with pulses, the rate of flour and rice has also increased by about 10 to 20 percent. If we talk about the rate of 5 kg flour, then at present the price is 225. Three months back the price was around Rs.215. There are also different varieties of rice with different names. According to the shopkeeper, there has been an increase of 10 to 15 percent in the prices of rice in three months.
