According to the latest information, today (July 25) a landslide occurred on the Badrinath National Highway. Due to debris on the road, the road is closed and traffic is affected.

According to the Chamoli police, the road is closed due to road debris near Nandprayag and Pursari on the Badrinath National Highway. Chamoli police also shared a video of this area. Please tell that due to rain, landslides are being seen at many places. Tall pine trees are going down along the creaking mountain. The entire debris of the landslide along with the trees is falling into the river flowing below. Because of this, not only the road, but also the flow of the river is getting obstructed.

The Yamunotri National Highway has been closed for the last four days due to debris falling from the hill, which has not been opened yet. Due to incessant rains, more than 300 roads are closed in Uttarakhand, to open which PMGSY has been deployed in the Disaster Management Department. The roads are being opened but due to rain they are being closed again due to which the passengers are facing problems.
