Mumbai Police said in a statement that the control received a threatening call at around 6 pm yesterday, in which the caller claimed that there would be blasts in Mumbai and after saying this he disconnected the call.

Mumbai Police said in a statement, “The control received a threatening call at around 6 pm yesterday in which the caller claimed that there will be blasts in Mumbai and after saying this he disconnected the call. Police have started investigation at many places, but nothing suspicious has been found so far. Police are currently trying to find out the details of the caller. Investigation of the entire matter is going on.
Earlier, Mumbai Police had received a similar threat on May 22 this year. The blast threat was made tagging the Twitter handle of Mumbai Police. In the post, the accused had written, “I am going to explode in Mumbai very soon.”
As soon as the police saw the post, they started investigating the matter. According to the police, this post was made around 11 am on May 22, in which there was a threat of blast.
