An accident occurred on Old Mussoorie Road on Friday. Two youths fell into the ditch. One person died in this accident, while the other youth is seriously injured.
Dehradun control room informed the SDRF team that 2 youths have fallen into a ditch in Old Mussoorie Marg, Rajpur. Whose rescue requires SDRF team.
As soon as the information was received, the SDRF team immediately left for the spot with rescue equipment. After which the team took immediate action and descended into the ditch about 100 meters below and reached those youths. One youth died on the spot, while the other youth was found injured.
The SDRF team pulled the injured person out of the ditch with great difficulty and sent him to the hospital with the help of an ambulance. The deceased youth was taken out of the ditch and handed over to the district police.
