Rs 25 crore has been stolen from a jewelery shop in the country’s capital Delhi. A case of theft worth about Rs 20-25 crore has come to light from a jewelery shop in Bhogal area of Delhi.

Thieves committed the theft by breaking into a jewelery showroom. Last night, thieves entered this showroom by cutting the roof and managed to reach the strong room by breaking into the showroom. Jewelery showroom owner Sanjeev Jain has told that after closing the shop on Sunday (24 September), when he opened it today on Tuesday 25 September, he came to know that it had been stolen.

This incident happened after midnight on Monday (September 25). Its video is going viral on social media. The showroom owner said that there were diamond and gold jewelery worth Rs 20 to 25 crore in the shop, all of which was stolen. The market remains closed on Monday in Jangpura area of Delhi. Therefore the showroom was closed for two days and opened on Tuesday.

The owner said that he became suspicious after seeing the panel of the shop broken. When he opened the shutter of the shop, he was shocked to see that all the diamonds and gold jewelery had been looted from the shop.

Jewelery showroom owner Sanjeev Jain said, “We closed the shop on Sunday (September 24) and when we opened the shop on Tuesday after Monday’s holiday, we saw that the entire shop was covered in dust and there was a hole in the wall of the strong room.” Was…. We think the thieves have looted everything… there was jewelery worth around Rs 20-25 crore… they entered through the roof… everything including CCTV has been damaged… investigation is going on. …”

A case has been registered in the matter and after the theft was revealed, Nizamuddin police reached the spot on Tuesday (September 26) morning. Police are scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the showroom.
