Isro scientist, the voice behind Chandrayaan-3 launch countdown, dies of cardiac arrest

ISRO scientist N Valaramathi, who voiced the countdown for Chandrayaan-3 during its launch, has passed away.

A sad news has come out from ISRO. ISRO scientist N Valaramathi, who voiced the countdown for Chandrayaan-3 during its launch, has passed away. The reason behind the death of the lady scientist is cardiac arrest. According to information, Valaramathi breathed her last on Sunday. Let us tell you, Chandrayaan-3 is the third moon mission which was launched on July 14 and in this countdown, Valaramathi gave her last voice. Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.

Valarmathi had been making countdown announcements for all launches for the past six years, as part of the Range Operations Program Office at the Satish Dhawan Space Center. Although she had been ill for some time, she breathed her last at a private hospital in Chennai at the age of 50. Valaramathi was the woman scientist of ISRO who started the countdown for Chandrayaan’s triple launch from Earth to the Moon.

Not only this, Valarmathi was also supposed to lend his voice in the countdown of C57 rocket of Aditya L1 spacecraft launched on September 2, but due to poor health this was not possible and in his place some other voice did the countdown of the launching.
