After the murder of the student, there was an uproar in Kheri village till late night on Monday. After this, the villagers came out on the road from Tuesday morning itself and started a ruckus by gheraoing the police station. Seeing the situation, the police commissioner himself took charge. He tried to pacify the angry villagers by talking to them. He told the people that three minors involved in the murder have been nabbed. Eyewitnesses had seen him hitting the student.
But the relatives of the deceased and the villagers demand that the village head should also be arrested. He is also accused of being involved in the murder. However, the police is claiming that the involvement in the murder of the village head has not yet been revealed in the investigation. At the same time, the police is also denying molestation. DSP Yamunanagar says that on Monday there was a dispute between the children in the school itself, then the principal had pacified the matter by explaining. But soon after leaving the school, there was a dispute between them again and the student died in the fight. At present, tension prevails in the area and heavy police force is deployed.
