Once again a case of death due to drinking poisonous liquor has come to light in Bihar. Two people died and four others fell seriously ill after consuming poisonous liquor in Muzaffarpur district on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Pappu Sah and Umesh Ram, residents of Pokhriyapir locality under Qazi Mohammad police station of the district. He had consumed alcohol on September 18 and was hospitalized for the last three days.

At present the investigation is going on. The local police has arrested the wife and daughter of an alleged absconding accused, Shivchandra Paswan. He is accused of selling country liquor.
